Welcome to Piedmont Homeschool Tennis
Our Mission
Piedmont Homeschool Tennis Team aims to Empower young athletes through Christian values and athletic excellence. Our homeschool Tennis team strives to foster a supportive community where faith, discipline, and teamwork intersect to glorify God in every endeavor.
Our Program
Launching as a Christian homeschool tennis program, our program aims to provide a nurturing environment where young athletes can develop their tennis skills while growing in their faith. With a focus on fostering camaraderie, character development, and competitive spirit, we invite families to join us in this exciting journey of athletic and spiritual growth. Our teams are ran by skilled coaches with years of experience.
Our Facility
As an organization, we are actively securing multiple venues to host our weekly practices, ensuring convenient access and ample opportunities for our athletes to hone their skills and build camaraderie in various settings.

Coaches Tim & Flo Miller
Tim began coaching youth Tennis at Hilton Head Island in 1985. Flo began coaching in 2017. Together they established the Queens Grant High School men and women’s tennis teams in 2013. Tim was head coach from 2013 -2021. He also was Head Coach for the Men’s Butler Team 2019-2021. Flo worked as his assistant until she began coaching the Butler High school Women’s Tennis team and the Queens Grant coed middle school team in 2017. She coached Butler for 4 years and QGMS for 6 years.
Both coaches gave up their positions at public schools when they retired. However, they continue to provide group and private lessons in the Mint Hill community for youth and adults.

Zach is a USPTA Certified Elite Teaching Professional, 2 Time All American College Athlete, and proud resident of Mint Hill, NC! As a Louisiana native and son of 2 Professional Tennis Instructors, Zach has spent 100’s of 1,000’s of hours watching & working with students of all ages, shapes, and sizes learn how to play tennis.
Tennis is mostly mental. Of course, you must have a lot of physical skill, but you can't play tennis well and not be a good thinker. You win or lose the match before you even go out there.
